Research carried out in 2021 showed that, on average each week, pharmacy staff are asked about medicines for headaches 31 times, back pain 29 times, muscular pain 28 times and joint pain 25 times.3
The same research showed that up to two thirds of pharmacy staff consider generic paracetamol or ibuprofen to be most suitable for treating mild-to-moderate pain.3
