A study has found that Active Iron from Solvotrin Therapeutics is six times less likely to cause gut irritation compared to other oral iron supplements, resulting in a four-fold improvement in adherence to treatment. The product also shows a 94 per cent increase in iron stores with a significant improvement in energy levels, says the company.
