Helping customers treat & care for their scalp

This e-module aims to provide community pharmacy teams with some key information they need to help them offer the best advice and treatment recommendations to customers with some common scalp conditions.

Objectives

• Understand how to recognise dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp and scalp psoriasis
• Know some of the products available in pharmacy to manage scalp conditions
• Feel confident having conversations with customers about these scalp conditions, which can be sensitive topics
• Be able to explain how to use Neutrogena T/Gel^® Therapeutic Shampoo (Neutar^(TM) solubilised coal tar extract) and the benefits of Neutar^(TM) to customers
• Explain the T/Gel^® daily range of products and the differences between each product
• Know what self-care advice you can give to your customers
